The Exercise Physiologist opening is in our Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation Department at Exempla Saint Joseph Hospital. Cardiopulmonary Rehab provides Phase I, II and III Cardiac Rehab and outpatient Pulmonary Rehab. The EP will be directly involved in planning, developing and conducting monitored exercise and lifestyle educational programs, will provide clinical and therapeutic counseling for patients and families as well as utilizing EP skills of physical and psychological assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation.
Requires:
-Bachelor degree in Exercise Science/Physiology.
-Master's degree preferred.
-One year experience as Exercise Physiologist in Cardiac or Pulmonary Rehab Phase I or II monitored exercise program.
-BCLS, ACLS certification.
-Prefer ACSM Exercise Specialist Certification and/or ACSM Registered Clinical Exercise Physiologist.
